[Breaking News] Terry’s
Electric, Inc. was named 2005 Trade Partner of the
Year by KB Home, announced Timothy Quigley, President
of Terry’s Electric, Inc.’s Residential
and Service Division. Said Quigley, “We are
especially pleased to have received KB Home’s
most prestigious award.” Having wired over 800
KB homes in 2005, Residential and Service Division
Vice President Charles “Buddy” Padgett,
Jr., added that receipt of KB Home’s highest
award followed five consecutive quarters as the home
builder’s Vendor of Choice.
KB Home is one of the nation’s premier home
builders and currently has over 30 new home communities
within Central Florida. Greg Lamb, KB Home’s
Vendor Relationship Manager for its Orlando Division,
said “Terry’s Electric is by far our single
most requested trade partner in our Central Florida
region which includes Lake, Orange, Osceola, Polk
and Seminole counties.” Lamb further explained
that vendors must handle at least fifty percent of
KB Home’s regional production in order to become
eligible. Concluded Padgett, “Obviously KB Home
appreciates our fine quality work, and as a result,
we may wire close to 1,000 new KB homes during 2006.”
Quigley added that this year, company wide, Terry’s
Electric will wire about 3,000 new homes for area
home builders.
The Residential and Service Division accounts for
25% of company revenue and also provides Residential
and Commercial Service. From 1,000 to 20,000 square
feet and beyond, the Division’s unmatched expertise
also includes Data Pre-Wire, Direct TV and Structured
Wiring for cable, home networks, phone and satellite
